What is a Whoopie Pie? A classic, all-American New England treat. Whoopie pies are a decadent, sweet cream that is sandwiched between two dense, cake-cookie-ish shells. Declared the official state treat of Maine in 2011. Smart Whoopies is woman owned, and specializes in authentic, Maine whoopie pies. Our pies are handmade, and baked by owner Regina Smart Striplin, a Mainiah, in Nowata, Oklahoma. We are the only whoopie pie bakery outside of New England. Smart Whoopies pies boast of the finest ingredients, like Ghirardelli Majestic cocoa, Ghirardelli & Guittard premium chocolate, sweet European butter, and authentic Mexican vanilla for that ambrosial experience.
