In 1936, Gabriel Pasquier started the family bakery in a small village in France’s Loire Valley. His 5 sons expanded the bakery and in 1974 founded Brioche Pasquier, which quickly became the No. 1 brioche bakery in France. After experiencing success in the European and U.K. markets, Brioche Pasquier products were first introduced in the USA, following its 2012 acquisition of Northern California-based Galaxy Desserts, Richmond, CA. Today, Brioche Pasquier is still a family-owned business, operating 18 factories across France, Europe and USA, and offices in South Korea. The company has established a strong business in the USA, in both retail and food service, and offers solutions under the Brioche Pasquier brand, or in private label.
