  “I ordered a cake for my son and new daughter-in-laws informal wedding reception. My son told me he wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting to feed 50 people. He gave no direction as to what he wanted on the cake so I went to the bakery with a plan. Since the reception was very informal I ordered the cake with sunflowers (my daughter-in-laws favorite flower). In the middle of the cake I had a light milk chocolate heart with my son and daughter-in-laws name to look like it had been carved out of a tree. When I arrived to pick up the cake the lettering didn't seem to stand out. No problem piping bags full of icing would solve the dilema. Yellow piping went over the names and they popped off the cake. The cake made quite an impression. There were lots of Awwww's, adorable, so cute, but the best came from my daughter-in-law. She came up to me gave me a big hug and said, I love the cake and sunflowers are my favorite, thank you so much. The guest commented on how moist the cake was and how delicious. Several people asked where the cake was purchased and I was happy to tell them Cake Creations in New Carlisle. I heard lots of mmmmmm's when the cake was eaten. Thanks Cake Creations for making a cake that contributed to the joyful day, and giving this mother-in-law unexpected brownie points.”
